Introduction
Panchayat training center, Ajmer is a divisional training center which is situated in district Ajmer. Ajmer division comprises of six adjoining districts which are Ajmer, Kekri, Beawar, Tonk, Bhilwara and Nagour.
Revenue record of center Village Ghugra, Gagwana Tehsil Ajmer, Dist - Ajmer, Acc No. 1157, Khasra No 104/4181, Area - 1.62 Hectare.
PTC Ajmer was established in year 1999. The center has been conducting residential and non-residential trainings successfully under RGSA and various other diverse subjects of rural development and Panchayati raj department and several other departments in 144 batches. The center has Successfully trained 6976 people till date which includes officers and employees of rural development and Panchayati raj department, public representatives, NGOs, Women participation of SHG's etc from rural area.
It will not be an exaggeration to conclude that PTC Ajmer has played phenomenal role since its inception in creating human resource, imparting valuable knowledge and understanding about the role of state and central government playing for the welfare of its people by and large. The large workforce of people which has been trained and is needed to be trained too, comprises of all the public representatives at zila parishad, panchayat samiti and gram panchayat level, the collective Staff and officers under rural development and Panchayati raj department, Engineers, Accountants, VDOS, SHGs, Junior assistants, technical assistants, NGOs, SHGs, line departments and various other stake holders.
