PTC Bharatpur

Introduction

Panchayat Training Center, Bharatpur is a divisional level training center located in district Bharatpur. Bharatpur Division comprises of six adjoining districts which are Karauli, Gangapur City, Dholpur, Sawai madhopur, Deeg and Bharatpur. Panchayat Training Center, Bharatpur is proudly entrusted to play pivotal role of capacity building of Panchayati Raj Institutions under rural development and Panchayati Raj department and several collective stake holder from other Line Departments in these districts of Eastern Rajasthan.

It will not be an exaggeration to conclude that PTC, Bharatpur has played phenomenal role since its inception in creating human resources, imparting valuable knowledge and understanding about the role of State Government and Central Government playing for the welfare of its people by and large. The huge workforce of people which has been trained and is needed to be trained too, comprises of all the Public Representatives at Zila Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat level, the collective staff and officers under Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Engineers, Accountants, Village Development Officers, Junior Assistants, Technical Assistants, NGOs, SHGs, Line Departments and various other stake-holders.

Since the establishment of PTC, Bharatpur in the year 2017, the Center has organized residential and non-residential Trainings under RGSA and various other diverse subjects of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department and several other departments in 86 batches through which we have been successfully able to train about 6012 people till date which includes officers and employees of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Public Representatives, NGOs, women participants of SHG's etc. from rural areas.

Infrastructure Facilities

Panchayat Training Center, Bharatpur was implemented through the Honorable Chief Minister's Budget Announcements 2013 programme following which the center has been constructed with the sum of Rs 1.5 Crore in the year 2017. The Institute comprises of double storey building which is present in the vast premises of about 0.82 hectare area.

The Institute consists of administrative building which comprises of -

1- Ground floor-

(a) Administrative Unit - comprises of rooms for staff and Office purpose.

(b) Halls 2 halls with capacity of 50 trainees each for trainings and residential purposes utilized as per requirement.

(c) Kitchen Large kitchen area for providing food preparing facilities during training events.

2- First Floor

(a) Conference hall Two well-furnished conference hall with capacity of 50 trainees each equipped with Laptop/Projector, White-Board, Mic- Sound system etc.

(b) VC Room

The Institute provide facilities for residential trainings in the available large hall as per requirement.
